ETH4D PhD Seminar: Research for Development

The annual doctoral colloquium «Research for Development» is being offered for doctoral students as part of the lectures at the Department of Humanities, Social and Political Sciences (D-GESS).

Prof. Isabel Günther, Director of Nadel (D-GESS), Prof. Elizabeth Tilley, Global Health Engineering (D-MAVT), and Dr. Adina Rom, Executive Director of ETH4D (D-GESS), build the teaching team. Doctoral candidates from all ETH departments, whose research is related to global sustainable development issues and conducted in low- or middle-income countries, are invited to give a presentation about their on-going work and discuss their doctoral project with a diverse group of researchers.

The next colloquium will take place during the fall 2024 semester on November 14 & 15. Registration via the course catalog
