Advancing Global Solutions: Insights from the 2025 Latsis Symposium “Science for Global Development and Humanitarian Action”
The symposium brought together researchers, practitioners, and
policymakers to explore how science and technology can drive equitable solutions to urgent global challenges. Over three days, a diverse programme of panels, keynotes, and a poster exhibition gathered 320 participants from around the world. Discussions ranged from AI and human rights to health technologies to sustainable housing, food systems, climate adaptation, and the challenge of scaling innovations for societal impact.
