Gnanli Landrou named to the Forbes 30 under 30 / Europe list!

Congratulations Gnanli Landrou named to the Forbes 30 under 30 / Europe list! This ETH Zürich Pioneer Fellow grew up in a clay house in West Africa, now through his ETH spin-off Oxara, he develops cement-free concrete. His goal? To help Africa and the rest of the world build affordable, sustainable houses.

ETH4D Gnanli Landrou

Inspired by his childhood living in brick houses in Togo, Gnanli Landrou has developed a technology that turns local excavation materials into poured earth concrete. His invention forms a hard, build-ready material that doesn't use cement in just 24 hours. He hopes to take the technology to market through his startup, Oxara.

Gnanli is a Pinoeer Fellow at ETH Zurich has received his doctoral degree from Sustainable Construction Lab.
