Second place at PEGNet Award 2019 for Adina Rom

Executive Director Dr. Adina Rom’s PhD project placed second at the PEGNet Best Practice Award 2019.

Adina Rom’s PhD project on Adoption and Impact of Solar Lighting in Rural Kenya won second place for the PEGNet Best Practice Award 2019 that was handed out during the PEGNet Conference 2019 on “Promoting social, economic and socio-political development through social protection” in Bonn on 9 - 10 September 2019. The award is awarded to projects that have successfully managed to bridge the gap between research and policy.
