ETH4D General Assembly
On 4th December 2019, ETH for Development held its second General Assembly which gathered more than 20 heads of research groups as well the leadership of various ETH Units including Global, ETH Sustainability and ETH NADEL. The main activities of ETH4D in 2019 were presented and members were invited to weigh in with their ideas for the future.
After the first year of establishment of ETH for Development, a General Assembly was organised on 4th December 2019, to look back at a dynamic year during which the initiative was built up. ETH4D members, which include professorships and senior scientists as well as ETH Units, were present and provided input for future activities and ways to further strengthen and adapt existing programmes. We concluded the event with a networking lunch, during which we celebrated ETH4D’s continuously growing network, which to this day includes 28 research groups from 8 departments at ETH Zurich and 5 ETH units. This event gave members the opportunity to exchange ideas and connect with each other and to strengthen their commitment to contribute towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
