Call for Bridging Grants with Asian countries
The Leading House Asia launches a call for Bridging Grants with China, Japan, South Korea and members states of ASEAN to establish existing collaborations between Swiss scientists and their collaborating partners.
Researchers from Switzerland belonging to a university, a university of applied sciences, a university of teachers education or a research institute are eligible to apply. Research projects up to 12 months can be funded. ASEAN members include Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Bridging Funds will be offered to Swiss researchers who have already completed a small cooperation project (exchange grant, workshop, seed funding) with an Asian partner. The funds will finance the extension of the collaboration in order to develop a grant application for a full joint research project with the SNSF or similar.
