The documentary film sheds light on the positive impact AI can bring for sustainable development as well as the risks and concerns associated with these revolutionary technologies. Following the film screening, the audience had the opportunity to discuss with external page Sanija Ameti, Senior Advisor at ICT4Peace, and Sophie-Charlotte Fischer from the Center for Security Studies at ETH Zurich. This year's external page Human Rights Film Festival Zurich ran from the 3rd until the 8th of December. The programme reflected a variety of human rights themes in different geographic and social contexts. Topics include flight and migration, the war in Syria, women’s rights, LGBTI-rights, responsibilities of multinationals as well as the relation between resources, energy and human rights. Panel discussions after the screenings widened the scope of the programme and offered the possibility to contextualise and discuss the films. The festival thus offered a platform for passionate dialogue between films and human rights.
Film screenings were limited to 50 people and complied to a proven COVID-19 safety concept.
