Global Health: Dialogue Days 2019

The Global Health event, Dialogue Days 2019, will be held in Zürich, Switzerland from September 9th-11th. These Dialogue Days are hosted by the University of Zürich, in close collaboration with Makerere University and the Infectious Diseases Institute in Kampala, Uganda.

The theme of this year's event is, “Global Health Challenges: What`s Next?”. It is hoped to provoke a fruitful debate amongst the delegates to consider what the future Global Health Challenges will be. These challenges will be presented through the lens of four main areas:

  • challenges in communicable diseases such as antimicrobial resistance in both humans and animals
  • non-communicable diseases in the global south
  • climate change

There will be brief “science-slam” style keynote presentations and workshops on each of these areas and these talks will be capstoned with an “Arena-style” discussion on global health impact of human and animal Migration.

The event is open to the public and free to attend, but prior external page registration is required.
